DR Koncertkoret
DR KoncertKoret – A symphony of singing voices
DR KoncertKoret consists of no fewer than 74 professional singers, who take the stage when the audience is to experience the great, broad choral sound across all classical genres and eras.
Besides the classical and romantic repertoire for choir and orchestra, new music has always played an important role for DR KoncertKoret. Per Nørgård's Symphony No. 3 was written for the choir, as were works by modern masters such as Henze, Sandström, Stockhausen, Ligeti, Berio and Penderecki.
DR KoncertKoret also performs as a professional choir independently of DR SymfoniOrkestret, and each season explores the great repertoire of music for choir a cappella.
