The Concert Hall is among the most impressive music stages in the world.
The experience is great already when you step into the Concert Hall. DR Koncerthuset's most impressive stage invites community, musical magic and a unique intimacy between audience and artists.
Besides large musical events, the Concert Hall has hosted world-broadcast events, such as the ceremonial handover of the EU presidency and H. M. the Queen's 40th anniversary on the throne.
The Concert Hall is built as an arena stage with room for 1,800 audience members, placed in front of, around and behind the orchestra. DR Koncerthuset has not only become famous for its fantastic architecture, but also for its outstanding acoustics – created by perhaps the world's best acoustician: Yasuhisa Toyota.
