Konservatoriets Koncertsal is considered one of the most beautiful concert halls in Denmark. It was designed by Vilhelm Lauritsen and inaugurated in 1945. The concert hall is well suited to both conferences and concerts, especially classical concerts. A completely new lighting and sound system was installed in 2009, and the hall today meets modern standards and requirements. The stage has a built-in podium system and is large enough for a symphony orchestra. The hall has its own professional technician, who looks after operation and running. There is room for 1058 spectators spread over 3 levels: 368 seats on the Floor, 340 seats in the Balcony and 350 seats in the Circle. In addition there are 4 wheelchair spaces on the Floor.
